Tea Bags, Toilet Paper and T-Shirts

NELTP was represented at the Bawcomville Redneck Christmas Parade on December 3rd, 2011. Our president, Don Antley, pulled a trailer where members, Angela Blakely, Jeff Cooksey and Jamie Cooksey, along with a couple of children passed out candy, toilet paper, NELTP t-shirts and tea bags with NELTP flyers.

There were lots of folks along the parade route which included Smith Street, a section of Thomas Road, New Natchitoches and Washington Street. Many received information about our organization. The most requested item from our float was the toilet paper. I guess you could say that our name is getting out there one roll of toilet paper at a time…

We will resume regular meetings which will be the second Saturday of each month beginning in January 2012. Meetings are from 10:00 am to noon at the Knights of Columbus, 206 Woodrow St. in West Monroe (see map).
